Fiery Jalapeño-Bacon Bites

Adapted via The Pioneer Woman Cooks
Serves: 8 to 10

♦ 20 to 30 jalapeños, halved length-wise with seeds and membranes removed (use gloves!)
♦ 2 (8-oz) blocks cream cheese
♦ 1 to 2 pounds of bacon, sliced in half

Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F. Fill each jalapeño half with some cream cheese, then wrap with a slice of bacon. Secure each piece with a toothpick through the middle, and set onto a baking tray – bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the bacon has browned. If it still looks too pink after 25 minutes, flip on the broiler for a few minutes until the bacon becomes crisp. These can be served either immediately or left out at room temperature for a bit (making them GREAT for hosting!)
