SESAME ASPARAGUS
Adapted from On My Menu
Serves: 2 to 3
Ingredients:
♦ 1 lb asparagus, ends snapped off and stalks peeled
♦ 2 Tbsp dark sesame oil
♦ 1 Tbsp soy sauce
♦ 1 clove garlic, minced
♦ salt and pepper to taste
♦ 1/4 cup water
♦ 2 Tbsp sesame seeds
Directions:
Mix sesame oil, soy sauce, garlic, water, salt and pepper. Place asparagus in a skillet and pour sauce over the asparagus. Heat to boiling. then cover. Simmer for 5 to 10 minutes or until asparagus is tender; toss with sesame seeds.
